Hi! I’m Jade

At Misskoko the Librarian, I believe good communication should be clear, practical, and human.

I work best with libraries, librarians, and GLAMR professionals who want support that respects the real work they do every day. That means no fluff, no jargon for the sake of sounding clever, and no one-size-fits-all advice from people who do not understand the sector. I listen first, ask the right questions, and then help shape a solution that feels useful, doable, and aligned with your goals.

My approach is grounded in storytelling, strategy, and design. I help you turn complex ideas into communication that people can actually understand and connect with. Whether I’m working on an online presence, content strategy, Canva training, public speaking, or a workbook, my aim is always the same: to make the work easier to see, share, and act on.

I believe in:

  • Respecting the expertise already in the room.

  • Making things simple without making them shallow.

  • Using storytelling to help people connect.

  • Supporting people with practical tools they can actually use.

  • Jade is a pleasure to work with! They always made sure I understood the reasoning behind any changes to my work. This was such a valuable approach, which greatly assisted in my learning. I completed this internship feeling confident and happy.

  • I hired Misskoko the Librarian on numerous occasions and highly recommend their services. I was impressed with their marketing knowledge and how they adapted recommendations to my situation as an artist-researcher-presenter. They also assisted in promoting my presentation, A Monumental Egyptian Tomb in Melbourne, gaining me a spot on the Melbourne Athenaeum and PMI Victorian History Library’s program of events.
